A New Way To Connect With Residents

We hope you enjoy this inaugural issue of Clark Township Today.

These are tough economic times for everyone.  We all need to work together to build the kind of programs, relationships and initiatives that to ensure all the stories coming out of Clark are success stories.

With that in mind, we are proud to announce that Clark Township Today is a
collaborative effort of the Clark Township municipal government and the Clark Board of Education. We’ve worked hard to put together a comprehensive newsletter that gives our residents the information they need to enjoy the community and take advantage of all it has to offer.

Working together, local government and local schools can have a positive impact on
every aspect of our community. Our new football stadium at Johnson High School is the perfect example. Together, the municipality and the school board developed the strategy and the momentum needed to make the new turf stadium a reality. Thousands of residents will remember that opening night was simply a magical evening in Clark.

The brand new field opened to the delight of not only the high school and local
football program, but also all of the residents of our community whose children enjoy many sports. Today, the stadium is host to programs for children of all ages. It is enjoyed by residents out for a run, and children interested in learning the finer points of lacrosse. It is a simple yet clear example of how working together as a community with the best interests of families in mind can be far more successful than the alternative seen in other places.

With that in mind, we hope you take a little time to read through and enjoy this first
edition of Clark Township Today.
